Implant Placement.
A dental implant is a titanium post surgically placed in the jawbone, acting as an artificial root that anchors a replacement tooth. Once it fuses with the bone, it supports a crown, bridge, or denture that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
A prosthodontist plans the restoration first, then builds backward to the implant — the same approach we bring to every implant case, planned, placed, and restored under one roof.
What to expect
Your case starts with a consultation and imaging review. A 3D scan lets us view your jawbone from every angle and confirm there's enough healthy bone to place an implant successfully. Some cases need bone grafting or a sinus lift first to build up that foundation.
The implant is then placed in the jawbone with careful, precise technique focused on your comfort and long-term stability.
Healing and integration take time before the permanent restoration can be attached. We'll walk you through what to expect during recovery, including any swelling or soreness in the days after surgery.
Once the implant has fully integrated, we design and attach the restoration. If the implant is already placed and it's just the crown, bridge, or denture that's needed, that starts with the same comprehensive consultation for implant restoration.
