Minor Orthodontic Correction.
Not every crooked smile needs a comprehensive course of orthodontics. Minor orthodontic correction is a limited, short-term clear aligner treatment designed for mild crowding, small gaps, or slight rotations, typically confined to the teeth that show most when you smile.
This is a more focused approach than comprehensive treatment like Invisalign, which addresses the full arch and how your teeth fit together when you bite. A limited series targets a smaller area with fewer aligners and a shorter timeline, which makes it a practical option for adults who want a quick cosmetic refinement rather than a full orthodontic rebuild.
Common candidates include patients with mild spacing or crowding in the front teeth, and patients who completed orthodontic treatment in the past and have experienced minor relapse or shifting over time.
What to expect
We begin with a comprehensive consultation and digital scan to evaluate your bite, gum health, and the position of your teeth. This step matters because a limited case is only appropriate when your bite and jaw relationship are otherwise healthy. If we find that a more comprehensive approach would serve you better, we'll walk through that option honestly before any treatment begins.
Once a limited case is confirmed, you'll receive a short series of custom aligners, worn most of the day and removed for eating and cleaning, with progress checked at planned intervals until your smile reaches its final position.
